One of my major passions is trivia. Naturally, I was drawn to quizzing in my college days. While I have not been as active over the years, I still try and participate in quizzes whenever I get an opportunity.
Mastermind Australia (2020)
My most recent quizzing experience was when I appeared on Mastermind Australia in 2020. It’s a very popular BBC show that is telecast on SBS in Australia. While I have been on TV quiz shows previously, it was many years ago. Hence, it was a great experience being on a TV quiz show again and moreover in a new country and in a new format. University Challenge (2006)
Like I earlier, this was many many years ago! I was the captain of my college team (NIT Surat) that participated in University Challenge hosted by the legendary quiz master Siddharth Basu. It was an amazing experience being a TV studio for the shoot and eventually seeing yourself on TV!
IMS Quotient on Zee Business (2006)
Again, I was the captain of my college quiz team that won the regional round in Ahmedabad and we made it to the national finals in Delhi. The travel to Delhi was the first time I flew in an airplane. Made lots of friends during the Delhi trip, some of whom I am in touch with even after nearly 16+ years.
