It’s been a bit quiet here with no posts for a while. I always thought I will let my writing do the talking (heh!), but couldn’t quite get to it. Now here’s a post where my talking is doing the talking 🤦
I gave a talk at the recently concluded Atlassian’s annual conference, TEAM ’24 held in Las Vegas. I did the presentation along with Geoff Sims, my team mate from the Central AI team at Atlassian (more about my move to Central AI and the role here) and it was very energising! Here are some photos:

Geoff and I shared our experiences and learnings from building AI experiences at Atlassian, especially in light of the advent of generative AI. AI was a big theme at TEAM ’24 with some major announcements around AI, including announcement of a new AI product which my teams contributed to significantly. It was great not only see strong attendance for our talk (which was just after lunch on the last day 😅), but also a highly engaged audience.
I’ve put in a fair bit of time and effort into public speaking over the last few years and it felt great to give such an impactful talk to a large audience at such a major event. I’m keen to do more public speaking in the future, so hopefully you’ll see and hear more from me.
